Additional Painting & Home Improvement Services in Austin, TX

I needed to have the concrete floor and counter in my small (220 sq ft) south Austin Airbnb to be replaced/renovated with a new stain of roughly the same color as the existing one, that had started to wear away, chipped sealer, etc. Rather than go back to the previous contractor, I decided to call Antonio Medrano; he had left his card listing the types of jobs he does, and saying he did free estimates, in my mailbox. So, I asked him to swing by to take a look at my project so I could meet him and see if he would be interested. He came by the next day, checked out the job, said he could do it, and recommended an epoxy paint that would be durable and could be mixed for desired color. Fast forward, and I am happy to say that Antonio and his primary assistant, Angel, were excellent, right on time, easy to work with and 100% honest and sincere. They did a great job on redoing my concrete floor, which was complicated because I have a wood inlay that had to be taped carefully before the paint went on. They got it done right on schedule, and Antonio came by a couple of times during the week of drying and curing to check up on everything. Then, when the toilet was put back in the suite and started failing to refill the tank, they quickly came by again to take care of it. All in all, I am very happy with the work they did, with attention to detail and my schedule. I will add that the cost was more than I had imagined (and I could have hired others for quite a bit less), but I am glad I went with Medrano’s because of the attitude and ethic of Antonio, and the good quality work of Angel — it was worth it! I’ll post a photo of the finished floor to show the area, the color, and wood inlay Angel has to work around with great detail. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MEDRANO’S PAINTING!

Antonio and his crew painted our kitchen walls, baseboards, quarter round, installed tile, removed popcorn, and repaired drywall. We are very, very pleased with the work they did. They showed up on time, did what they said they would, and cleaned their mess at a reasonable price. Edited to say: I still love my kitchen! Received many compliments. Thanks!

Antonio Medrano's team of 3 just completed repainting the exterior of our c.1930's bungalow. Their work is great! The house is rough to work on with old wood and previous paint that was in bad shape. They spent time scraping the loose paint as well as powerwashing to remove as much as possible. Then they used a good primer extensively to seal down the edges of remaining paint as well as protect. They caulked everywhere to fill joints and cracks. Finally they gave the house a heavy spray or a good brush coat. They even painted the gutters and downspouts which used to match our trim but had faded. It all looks really lovely now. The same 3 men were here every day over a total of 9 days so they always knew what they were doing and where they left off. They were very punctual, worked diligently, consistently & were friendly. Antonio is a good manager and his communication with me was excellent. I also was really impressed with his attention to detail when he first looked at our house. He wanted to paint small areas that I wasn't paying attention to and they look great now. He has a good eye for the overall look as well as evaluating the job at the end. He made sure I was happy with the end result and was ready to fix whatever I pointed out. Antonio really cares about his work and his clients. Finally, the price for all this work was very reasonable. I had 4 painters look at the job and got 3 estimates. I felt like we really got excellent work and results for our investment. I will definitely recommend Medrano's Painting and will hire them again in a minute. Two photos show after scraping began (but some peeling looked almost that bad). After photos include how smooth and well painted the overhang of the roof looks. Now the green fascia visually connects with the underside of the metal roof because they painted the metal too. They did a great job power-washing our deck floor and restaining it. All porch floors and steps were primed to make the paint last longer.

We have now used Medranos on three separate projects and each time he surprises me with his knowledge! If you want it done right, even just a gorgeous refresh by a good human here’s your guy!

Antonio and his team did an excellent job painting the trim around our house. They were punctual, professional, and detail-oriented from start to finish. The lines are crisp, the finish is smooth, and they took great care to protect the surrounding areas while working. The crew worked efficiently, and the end result really elevated the curb appeal of our home. Highly recommend Antonio and his team for any painting project!

Antonio was so easy to work with, he came over gave me a quote very quickly and was able to setup the job fast which was great for our time crunch. His team was efficient and great to work with. I’m very happy with the service they provided.

I’ve used Medrano’s painting for years, nothing but good things to say about this company and especially the owner Antonio. Fair pricing, great work and most of all, extremely reliable. Highly recommended.

Huge shoutout to Medrano Painters—especially Antonio—for totally coming through for us during our move! We were in a bit of a time crunch and needed the house painted ASAP before handing it off to the new owners, and Antonio didn’t just fit us in… he knocked it out of the park. The walls looked flawless—like nothing had ever hung or bumped into them. Super professional, super fast, and super high quality. Can’t thank them enough for making our exit smooth and stress-free. If you're ever in a bind and need top-tier painting work, Antonio’s your guy!
